Yesterday, we took a quick trip to Target so I could pick up some picture frames. On the way there, my husband cranked up the stereo and bellowed along with Alicia Keys. This song. Never mind that he couldn't hit the notes, and his voice was cracking and breaking. He gleefully did his best, and I watched him work it out.

The kids were covering their ears in horror, and bellowing other songs to drown it out, but my honey just kept on singing. By this time he was also pounding out the strong 4/4 beat on the steering wheel.

After the song was over, he smiled at me calmly and turned on something the kids wanted to listen to. I can't be sure, but I think he was singing for me.
