One of those weeks.
We had a good school week. I'll give us that. But it's 97 degrees and muggy at 7:30 pm on a Friday night.
Work was all-consuming this week. Not in that happily busy with interesting projects kind of ways, either. Not a complaint, as I know how very lucky I am to have a great (fun! mostly!) job. Just... this week was like an enormous game of Twister.
My sweet dog is at the vet's office tonight, with an IV pushing fluids. She was listless all morning, and was shaking in discomfort by the time I got an appointment for her early this afternoon. I think she'll be all right. She's very dehydrated, but they haven't found any reasons for that yet. I'm hopeful she'll be able to come home tomorrow afternoon.
POOR DONNA.
I guess I should take the kids to the pool. Maybe I'll just get right on that.

I'm sorry - it's so hard when it's a pet that can't tell you what's wrong. Our cat has been a puker all summer and we have no clue what's wrong - neither does our vet. It sucks. hope your furry baby makes a full recovery!

Isn't this weather the pits?! I can't get over the heat the last two days. Friday, it looked like I needed to put a jacket on before I picked up my son. Thank goodness, I didn't AND that I changed into a t-shirt or a dramatic collapse would have been on the agenda while said kidlet played outside for two hours with a new classmate after school! Hope your pup is okay. Our kitties were not pleased at all with the weather either. :< I'm oh so ready and waiting for fall!

Oh poor puppy. Get some rest and soak up some fluids. I'm sure she'll be good as new.
