Happy Mother's Day to Me!
Dear Mom,
You are the best mom ever, and I'm so glad that you are always there for me when I need you. I know that you've been through a lot this past year, everything from trying to work things out with S, and realizing that things wouldn't work out. Through everything you've stayed an awesome mom to me and Jordan. I love you more than you know even if you do tell me to go to bed during our yahoo IM bonding sessions.
You are the strongest person I know and you've taught me to be strong as well. I can't even begin to describe how great of a mom you are, and your greatness makes up for the John Mayer and Maroon 5.
I love you so much, which is why I am going to make you dinner tonight, it's a surprise so don't even try to guess...and it's not coming from a box!

*UPDATE* The dinner that K prepared was beyond fabulous! Garlic/Herb crusted chicken breasts with linguini floating in a sauce she made of her own creation...lemon salt, pepper, freshly grated parmesan cheese, a little garlic and some butter...YUM!
Now that I know my 12 year old can cook, there are going to be some serious changes around here!

That's a really sweet letter and K seems sincere, so I doubt she'll want to off you this early in her career.
