Oy. Whoever decided this whole spring forward baloney should be smacked.
That is all.

And you think getting up the first Monday after Spring Forward is hard? Try doing it with the power out. Yep, no power this morning and had the time not changed we would have gotten up on time. However, we woke up an hour late. I guess it didn't really matter anyway since the teen and I had to go to my mom's to get ready.

Oh, I so HATE daylight savings time. What are we saving it for, anyway? Indiana now has all kinds of different times spread out and mixed up among counties; different counties feeding into our one high school have different times and it's ridiculous.

All this time change business never bothered me before I had a toddler. Trying to explain time change to a toddler is ...um ..pointless, so our happy little schedual is totaly screwed up!
So, now my newly revised opinion of Daylight savings is that it's stupid!

The WORST day of the year - it's like having jet lag.
On the other hand, I think the day we FALL BACK should be a national holiday -- that gift of an extra hour is better than Christmas.

I'd like to give him a good bitch slap too. This is insane!

They're considering Single Double Savings Time (another hour forward on top of the current one) here in the UK. I swear they're doing it just to mess up my precariously balanced toddler schedule even more.

My kid handled it just fine. I'm the one who couldn't seem to get with the program.

I hate it when we have to change the clocks. My kids seem out of kilter and it takes at least 3 days to get everything back to normal around here.

I agree. That is all.
Oh, and good for you with all of the jumping around and such. Woo hoo!
April 4, 2006 11:48 PM
agreed. I won't be back to normal until we fall back again.

It's like toying with my sanity TWICE a year.

I made the mistake of flying to another time zone just before The Sunday The Clocks Changed. So I got there, and blew my internal clock to bits. Then I got home, and blew my internal clock to bits.
And while I was absorbing all of this bad time stuff, the calendar hit Sunday and, you guessed it, blew my internal clock to bits.
I'm leaving home again tomorrow, but thankfully I'm staying in my time zone. But I'll still find a way to blow my internal clock to bits. I hate hotels. Lonely places. No munchkins to tuck in. No hugs.

girl, I had a dream about you last night. I have to tell you about it sometime because it was cerrazy.

I think it's hardest on families with very small children
or lots of clocks.

Other than the one hour of missed sleep, I love springing forward. I hate it when it gets dark at 6 pm. I get depressed every October when we have to fall back.
It helps that my kids are scheduleless. bwahahahaha
